Who we fund

AFC typically looks to engage with owner-managed businesses with annual sales between £500k and £15m. We have no specific sector exclusions but the receivable must provide satisfactory security value.

We will seek to structure a bespoke facility for every individual client’s needs and our underwriting approach is based on core lending fundamentals: character, capacity and collateral.

We are also able to work across three major currencies – Sterling, Euro & US Dollar.

Why businesses like working with us

ACF prides itself in its wedding of cutting edge technology alongside a traditional relationship management structure.

  • Our technology connects our client’s accounting package directly to the ACF system facilitating real time viewing of funding availability, meaning no lengthy reconciliation process.
  • Access to our bespoke handheld app and provides instant visibility of our client’s account and the ability to request drawdown remotely.
  • Each client has a dedicated account manager as well as direct access to senior decision makers at ACF, giving our clients additional comfort and fast decisions.
  • Just like you, we are an owner-managed business and completely understand the client journey and challenges faced.

“The confidential invoice finance facility that Amicus Commercial Finance has structured for us is working very efficiently indeed and provides a constant stream of working capital for our everyday needs” Paul Salter, ASL Precision Sheet Metal Ltd

"Amicus have the technology, yet they still maintain the old-fashioned values of putting people before the numbers. The service we have received from our previous providers felt corporate and commercially-driven. Amicus, on the other hand, are refreshing; they offer a relationship-orientated approach, resulting in a supportive, highly personalised service."

"Equally important, we now feel we have a genuine relationship with a supportive financier by our side. We are very optimistic about the future of the business and are confident that we will go from strength to strength with the support of Amicus."
